High On Track is more than just a racing game. It is a speed chase that Kodub has cleverly mixed between minimalist low-poly style and colorful race tracks. It looks simple, but when the car rushes at breakneck speed, you will see everything more vivid and colorful than ever. The good thing is that it is familiar, but also strange enough to make people curious and want to try it right away.
Holding the wheel, you will have to overcome sharp turns, reckless jumps, and even roads that seem to have no way out. In High On Track, not only is speed important, but also calmness and dexterity. A neat drift or a timely breakthrough can change the whole race.
Controls are simple: turn left, right, accelerate, brake, and a boost button. But this simplicity creates difficulty – because winning or losing is about skill, not a bunch of complicated shortcuts. You have to learn to keep the rhythm, know when to brake lightly, and when to let go all the way.
The quickest route isn't always the most obvious one. You can save a few valuable seconds with a bold jump or a tight turn.
While too much boost can be thrilling, if you use it improperly, it will only cause you to crash into a wall. Save it for long straights or when you need to break away.
If you like to accelerate from the start, focus on the engine. If you like smooth cornering, prioritize the control system. There is no “best”, only what suits you.
Easy to play, but hard to quit. Because every race is different, each attempt brings a little more progress, a little more surprise. Plus, the feeling of passing your friends at the last second – or being passed by them – is enough to keep you playing again and again.
