Shady Cats is a 2D cartoon online platformer developed by Coolgamesfree.org. This game melds bright and lively farm landscapes with the idea of complex architecture and high-paced survival gameplay. Players will have to use brainpower to avoid retracing their steps, collect resources, and accumulate points.
As the run continues, maps start becoming more complex with the addition of exciting risk-reward items.
Fish jars and Angry Bees: When players collect fish jars, they multiply the amount of acorns gained and help to earn points quickly. However, when players pick up the jar, a pack of angry bees is spawned that will chase them, leading to danger.
Dynamic Maps: The terrain and platforms of this game shift during the course of playing and make players forget about memorization. They need to adapt to environmental changes to succeed.
Four-player Local Co-op: Shady Cats can be played by up to four players in local co-op mode. Different characters on the same screen create shadows and limit the space available for moving around comfortably.
Player 1: Move and jump using arrow keys
Player 2: Move and jump using WASD keys
Prevent Overlap: Focus on traveling widely and methodically across the map as opposed to going in quick roundabout motions. Quickly made turns can prevent you from easily escaping from your shadow.
Plan Your Fish Containers Timing: Only collect fish jars after you’ve determined your escape route for the wave of bees coming your way.
Keep Fireflies on the Board: If it isn’t very populated yet, don’t grab your fireflies until your shadow actually cuts you off.
